While we were in Greece we took a day trip from Rhodes, to Symi, Its about 2 hours by ferry and you stop at a monastery and then at Symi Town itself.
What a gorgeous little treasure its so small and picturesque, but very busy with tourist as the ferry’s come in, but I suppose its the little towns bread and butter so I mustn’t complain. I could of easily just stayed behind on this little island and waited for dusk , I can only imagine the amazing photos I would of gotten. Symi is a photogenic place I could of spent days here. Just before we left on holiday I found a blog about a photographer and his wife that immigrated to Symi, its such a nice read I think it was called Symi Dream, I havnet figured out if its the husbands or the wifes blog, but it makes no difference really I just enjoy reading about life on Symi.
